Prior to 2017, Kilimanjaro Restaurant relied on their physical locations and their innovating Ping-a-meal service on Blackberry devices to process orders..

Our collaboration with Kilimanjaro focused on enhancing their online presence and improving the overall customer experience. We developed a user-friendly website that simplifies the ordering process, enabling customers to easily select their location and browse the menu.

PHASE ONE (2017 - 2021)

Website design

Mactavis Digital built a website and online store using WordPress and WooCommerce for easy order placement in 2017. To buttress the system, we developed a Food Delivery Management System  for orders and logistics management

Mobile apps

We also launched a customer mobile app for users to places orders and also a logistics app for delivery personnel to handle deliveries to customers. We also provided maintenance services across all platforms.

PHASE TWO (2021 - PRESENT)

In 2021, Kilimanjaro crossed some major scalability thresholds. This necessitated the need for a system upgrade and building highly customized workflows. We redesigned and redeveloped the entire system from scratch to optimize for scalability and operational needs:

We built a user-friendly app with innovative features such as a wallet system, gift cards, customer-loyalty rewards etc

Admin Dashboard

A robust admin backend system for managing orders and logistics, and generating insightful reports on performance of restaurants..

Food Management Webapp

An app for outlet managers to receive orders and assign them to logistics personnel.

Rider App

An app for logistics personnel to receive delivery tasks and mark orders as dispatched and delivered.
